i will often judge someone straight off by appearances(were all guilty of it) and then if they care, they will try and gain respect/frienship, whatever, and if they dont then all power to them, what does the opinion of a cunt like me matter anyway?

I may have given off the same vibe as Dave...i got told the other day that some people find me unapproachable...I was quite shocked..cos I always thought I was pretty friendly...C'est La Vie.
On that note though....isnt it annoying if people are trying too damn hard to be your mate???I personally think its better to be welcoming and then you can make a better judgement based on your own findings....
